EBU: A Prelude to Fertil
We were captivated by the batik Madura pieces for numerous reasons, one being the presence of the "tumpal" or "kepala kain" panel—a distinctive feature of batik sarongs. Placed at the back, this panel aligns with our design philosophy of creating pieces that offer wearability through a twist-and-tie method, familiar to our wearers.
