Bonjour Baju
Bonjour Baju, our debut in Europe, reprised batik motifs from the Kasih+Sayang collection which was first released in 2020. Kasih+Sayang is a celebration of love. The collection explores this through its expression in batik motifs. The motifs featured are Kawung, Parang, Sido Mulyo, Truntum, Merak Ngibing, Babon Anggrem, Tambal, Sekar Jagad, Wahyu Temurun, Cuwiri and Delimo Mulyo. Each one of these motifs embodies the notion of love in ways that you would never imagine! However, quite unlike the 2020 version of Kasih+Sayang, this reprisal will see our signature silhouettes – namely the reversible Merdeka jackets and the Utama pants – at their best.
Lingkaran
Lingkaran draws inspiration from the endless shape of a circle, symbolising Baju by Oniatta's return to Kampung Gelam, where batik first flourished. Featuring both batik tulis and batik cap on cotton and silk, this collection reflects the cyclical nature of life and our connections with people and places
